July/August Events

Lady Gaga tickets

Come to the Gallery Bar at Mayfield Inn and donate three food items to Edmonton’s Food Bank to receive your entry form to win a pair of tickets to the August 26 show.

Change Your Giving

The Neighbourhood Empowerment Team, a partnership project with City of Edmonton – Community Services, Edmonton Police Service, The Family Centre and United Way of the Alberta Capital Region, has launched a Change Your Giving campaign in the Callingwood area. Edmontonians are encouraged to donate to a Food Bank cash collection box, available at all Change Your Giving events, rather than give money to panhandlers.

Both the Change Your Giving and the City of Edmonton’s Have a Heart-Give Smart campaigns urge Edmontonians to give money to social services organizations such as Edmonton’s Food Bank, and others found at 211 Edmonton rather than to panhandlers.
