Canstruction Edmonton
Canstruction, organized by the Canadian Progress Clubs of Northern Alberta, will be at Southgate Centre from TBA 2011. In 2009, nine teams participated and built works of art out of cans of food.
Sink the Ship
Sink the Ship is TBA 2011 and Edmontonians are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food donations on the Edmonton Queen between noon and 6 p.m.

Realty Executives 2010 Golf for Food Tournament
Eighteen holes to raise funds for the Food Bank never sounded so good. Come out with a team on TBA 2011, shot gun start. Show us your strokes at the Legends Golf and Country Club (53541 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park) and support the Food Bank. The World of True Community
The World of True Community is an exhibition of photography and writing about homelessness by Lenoose (Leonard) Martial at the University of Alberta, Extension Gallery in Enterprise Square at 10230 Jasper Avenue. The exhibit is part of the Works Festival of Art and Design 2010 and runs from June 22 to July 28. The opening reception is on June 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. and complimentary food will be served. Please download the invitation and the background about the exhibit. Edmonton’s Food Bank encourages the public to see the exhibit. However, no donations will be collected for our organization.
CitiFinancial food drive
CitiFinancial Group is launching a new national food drive on June 28 and it continues through to September 7. CitiFinancial has over 250 branches across the country and they hope to raise much needed food for local food banks.
